Fine Large Turned Wood Clothespin beautiful Japanese lacquer box I would guess it datesThis is the most beautiful clothes pin I think I've ever seen. And it is oversized, making it feel all the more a special object. I'd probably use it on my desk to hold a pile of clippings or drawings together, or it would certainly make for a very elegant way to seal a big bag of potato chips! 7" long x 5 8" wide x 1 2" deep and in excellent condition, with just very light wear. I'd guess it dates to the very early 20th century.
