A Trench Art Howitzer Carved by a German POW in Amherst Internment Camp consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac a silver bullion lanyard(Grabenkunst Haubitze). An elaborate trench art howitzer, constructed of multiple pieces of lacquered dark brown wood with bone additions, consisting of a large gun affixed to a carriage with functional wheels and a functional elevator on one side, with a detachable barrel which slides down the carriage and locks in place with a metal stud to emulate the movements of firing, one side notably featuring a functional swivel lever constructed of bone, the
